Body-Art Studios

Artist, workstation, and session length in one calendar — from a single-chair studio to a multi-artist shop.

Artist working at a tattoo studio workstation

Session length set per service, per artist

A four-hour back piece, a thirty-minute touch-up, a piercing consult: each service carries its own duration, and pause-after-appointment gives the workstation time to be reset before the next booking opens.

Workstation and sterilization gear in every slot check

Attach the chair, tattoo station, or piercing bench as required resources; a time only opens when the artist and every attached resource are free at the same time.

Style matched to the artist

Assign services to the artists who do that style; the public page never offers a black-and-grey session to a colour-only artist.

Automatic reminders and self-serve reschedule

Confirmation on booking, reminder before the session, and a link that lets the customer move a long appointment without phoning the studio.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take a deposit or prepayment for a long session?

No — Zimun does not process deposits or prepayments. What protects a long session instead: each service carries its own duration with an optional pause after the appointment to reset the station, the workstation stays locked for the whole slot, and the confirmation email carries a self-serve reschedule link, with automatic reminder emails available as a setting.

How do I handle a consultation before the main session?

Set the consultation up as its own service with its own duration. The main session is then booked as a separate appointment — your artist can enter it in the dashboard while the customer is still in the studio, or the customer books it online later. The two appointments are not linked automatically.

Can Zimun stop two bookings from claiming the same chair or machine?

Yes. Attach the chair, station, or machine to the services that need it as a required resource. A time is only offered when the artist and every required resource are free together, and the same check runs for appointments your team enters by hand.

We have several identical stations — does each booking have to name one?

No. Give the station resource a quantity and Zimun treats the stations as a pool: bookings are accepted while at least one unit is free, and the pool is never overbooked.

What happens when a client needs to move a long appointment?

The confirmation email carries a self-serve link where the client picks a new time from the slots that actually fit the artist and the workstation — no phone call needed. The freed time becomes bookable again.
