Updated Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern use of this free online appointment scheduling Service.
Last updated: 2025-11-21
1. Scope
These Terms govern the use of this free online appointment scheduling Service (“Service”), operated by a private individual (“Operator”). The Service allows end-users to book appointments with independent businesses (“Service Customers”).
2. Nature of the Service
The Operator provides only the technical appointment scheduling platform. The Operator:
- is not a party to the contract between the end-user and the Service Customer,
- does not provide or influence the booked services,
- is not responsible for the performance, quality, or outcome of the service delivered by the Service Customer.
All obligations related to the booked service (including performance, cancellations, delays, refunds, or disputes) are exclusively between the end-user and the Service Customer.
3. User Accounts and Authentication
Users may authenticate using Google OAuth or Microsoft OAuth. The Operator does not store passwords. OAuth providers act as independent data controllers; their privacy policies apply.
4. Appointment Scheduling Process
4.1 Formation of Agreement
By scheduling an appointment through this Service, the end-user forms a contractual relationship directly with the Service Customer, not with the Operator.
4.2 Appointment Communications
The Service may send necessary transactional communications (confirmation, reminders, changes, cancellations, required follow-ups). These are not marketing messages.
4.3 Transfer of Appointment Data
To process the appointment, the following data is shared with the Service Customer: name, email address, selected service/resource, chosen date/time, and any optional data submitted. The Service Customer uses this data solely for managing and delivering the booked appointment.
4.4 Retention of Appointment Data
Appointment data is retained for one (1) month after the appointment date, then deleted or anonymized. This limited retention allows the Service Customer to verify the appointment, respond to follow-up issues, and perform necessary administrative tasks. Further details are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to submit false or misleading information, interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Service for illegal/abusive purposes. The Operator may restrict access in case of misuse.
6. Liability
The Operator is liable only for intent and gross negligence under applicable German law. The Operator is not liable for Service availability, delivery delays (e.g., emails), data loss not caused by intent or gross negligence, authentication issues caused by third-party login providers, or the services performed by the Service Customer. Statutory liability rules remain unaffected.
7. Data Protection
All processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, the user acknowledges that the Operator will process personal data as described therein.
8. Modifications
The Operator may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is determined by applicable statutory provisions.
