Zimun is built to stop clashes before they happen. Here’s how it keeps your calendar clean:
1. How Zimun prevents conflicts
- Only shows slots where staff are working
- Checks linked resources, so rooms and tools aren’t double-booked
- Hides times that overlap existing appointments
2. Checking availability
The booking page always reflects real availability. If a person or resource is busy, the slot simply disappears.
3. Example scenario
At “Relax & Renew Spa,” one therapist and one massage room are linked. When that therapist is booked, the room disappears from the picker automatically.
4. Tips for smooth scheduling
- Keep working hours updated — they drive availability
- Review service-resource links regularly
- Use the dashboard colour coding to spot busy periods
Holidays and one-off overrides
- Public holidays are detected from your organization address and shown as blocked days with a tooltip in all calendars.
- If you open on a holiday, add an override set to “Open” for that date to remove the block.
- To close a specific working day, add an override set to “Closed” and include a note — it appears like a holiday with your note in the tooltip.
- Manage overrides in Settings → Organization → Schedule overrides; changes apply instantly.
5. Summary
Let Zimun handle the conflict checks so you can focus on clients, not calendars.
